MTS (Multi-Channel T elevision Sound) MTS technology allows several audio signals to be broadcast at once, giving you a choice in what you wish to hear with a TV program. In addition to mono or stereo sound, an MTS broadcast may also include a Second Audio Program (SAP).
Closed Captions subtitles are usually found on caption channel CC1. Some programs may include additional text information which is usually found on text channel T1. The other channels are available for future use. Closed captioning may not work cor r ectly if the signal being received is weak or if you are playing a video tape.

VCR Plus+ 27 VCR Plus+ Y our TV/VCR combo comes equipped with VCR Plus+ technology. This function lets you program your VCR by simply entering the VCR Plus+ code number associated with the program you wish to r ecord. • Before VCR Plus+ can be used, the VCR Plus+ guide channels must be programmed.

Video Status The V IDEO S T A TUS button gives you a choice of three TV picture display settings, including “Standard”, “Cinema”, and “Game”. Standar d - Resets the picture display to the factory settings. Cinema - Settings designed to give a “film-like” look to television and video tape programs.
Return+ The R ETURN + button has two functions: Return - Returns to the channel viewed just before the channel cur rently onscreen. Return+ - Lets you program a specific channel to r eturn to while scanning through the channels.
Button Functions - VCR 31 VCR Functions - Basic The following remote control buttons control the basic functions of the VCR. P LA Y • Begins playback of a video cassette. R EW • Rewinds tape. If pressed while tape is stopped, the tape counter will display onscreen.
32 Button Functions - VCR Skip Search Each time you press the S KIP S EARCH button while a tape is playing, the unit will fast-forward ahead 30 seconds on the tape. You may press the button up to four times in a row to move 120 seconds (two minutes) ahead.
