12 2 TV multi-brand remote control Press and hold VCR on the remote control until you finish the step 2. 1 The D VD/VCR ’ s remote control can control several functions on JVC remote control TVs and on the brands of remote control TVs listed below .

This DVD/VCR has an extended tuning range and can be tuned to most cable channels without using a cable company supplied converter box, except for those channels which are intentionally scrambled.
17 This D VD/VCR cannot receive scrambled prog rams since it does not contain a descrambler . In order to receive scr ambled programs, your existing descrambler must be used. Descrambler boxes are available from cable companies. Consult your local cab le company for more inf or mation concerning connection to their descrambler equipment.

20 Setting the video channel/Setting the langua g e T o view playbac k of a recorded tape, or to watch a program selected by the VCR's channel selector , the TV must be set to channel 3 or 4 (video channel).
21 3 T uner setting This DVD/VCR is equipped with a channel memory feature which allows channels to skip up or down to the next channel set into memory , skipping o ver unwanted channels. Bef ore selecting channels, they must be pr ogrammed into the DVD/VCR ’ s memory .

The Hi-Fi STEREO recording procedure is the same as for normal recordings.
