8 EN INITIAL SETTINGS Clock A TTENTION CABLE BOX SUBSCRIBERS If you perform the Advanced Auto Clock Set procedure . . . ● Select the PBS channel on your cable box before plugging your VCR’ s power plug into the AC outlet.
EN 9 Clock Setting Perform clock setting only if the clock has not been set correctly by Advanced Auto Clock Set. Access the Override Auto Clock Set screen to choose the Auto, Semi-Auto or Manual clock setting procedure. Each procedure starts from step 5 .

EN 19 8 CABLE BOX BRAND LIST NOTES: ● Although the supplied Controller is compatible with many different cable box brands, it is possible that it will not work with your cable box. ● If your cable box doesn’t respond to any code between 1 and 69, you can’t use the Controller to change cable box channels.
20 EN INITIAL SETTINGS (cont.) The VCR Plus+ timer programming system eliminates the need to input channel, date, start and stop time data when setting the timer record function. Simply key in the PlusCode number for the TV program you wish to record (found in most TV listings) and the VCR’ s timer is automatically programmed.

EN 45 Instant Timer Recording (ITR) This easy method lets you record for from 30 minutes to 6 hours (selectable in 30-min. increments), and shuts the VCR off after recording is finished. ST AR T RECORDING 1 Press REC on the front panel. ENGAGE ITR MODE 2 Press REC again.

Y ou can set this VCR so it responds to remote commands only when the switch is set to B , and another VCR so it responds to commands when the switch is set to A .
64 EN INFORMA TION ON J TERMINAL J T erminal (JLIP(Joint Level Interface Protocol) Connector) The J T erminal is used to connect the VCR to a personal computer or similar device to allow computerized control of the VCR during editing and certain other operations.
