Express T imer Programing ● Remember , the clock must be set before you can program the timer . ● Load a cassette with the record safety tab intact. The recorder turns on, and the counter is reset, automa tically. ● Select the app ropriate colou r system with “ PA L / M E S E CA M ” and “ NTSC ” in Function settings.
Other Functions Checking tape position When you change the recorde r operation mode from the st op mode to fast forward or rewind mod e, or when you pe rform an Index Search or Instant Revie w, the tape position indicator appears.
䡵 AUTO SP ] LP TIMER — ON / OFF When this function i s set to “ ON ” , the recor der automatically switches to LP mode to allow complete recording if there is not enough tape to record the en tire program while timer -recording in SP mode. Fo r Example, Recordin g a P AL-broadcast programme of 210 minutes in length ont o a 180-minute tape.
Changing Remote Control Code T his remote control is capable of transmitting two control codes; one set to respond to A cod e control signals and anothe r set to respond to B cod e control signals. This remote control is preset to send A code signals b ecause your recorder is initi ally set to respond to A code signals.
