Also, be sure to use the provided A C adapter , as the data on the recording medium may be corrupted if the batter y becomes e xhausted during operation.
27 EN Copying Files COPYING T ypes of Copying and Connectable Device The Camcorder Y ou can cop y fi les between the HDD and microSD card with this camcorder alone. D VD Burner (CU-VD50/CU-VD3) Y ou can cop y fi les recorded on this camcorder onto D VD discs.
28 EN Backup All Files Preparation: • Connect the camcorder to the D VD burner . • Select ! mode. 1 Select [CREA TE FROM ALL]. 2 Select the desired menu. • [ALL SCENES]: All fi les in the recording medium are copied. • [UNSA VED SCENES]: Files that ha ve ne ver been copied to a D VD disc are automatically selected and copied.
29 EN Creating a D VD using a PC Please read the “JVC SOFTW ARE LICENCE AGREEMENT” in the CD-ROM instruction before y ou install software. Y ou can cop y the data from the camcorder and create a D VD using a PC.
30 EN R Making Backup on the PC Preparation: • Install the software to the PC. • Make sure that enough free space is left in the PC’ s HDD . • Close the LCD monitor to tur n off the camcorder . 1 Open the LCD monitor to turn on the camcorder .
31 EN S Making User Lists to Arrange the Files Y ou can make a user list of a certain subject (such as T ra vel, Athletic meet) and put the fi les related to the subject into the user list. Preparation: Make bac kup on the PC. 1 Double-c lick the icon and open the calendar .

Press UPLO AD twice . If you record a fi le with the upload mode set on, the recording stops automatically 10 minutes after the recording is started.
