4 Remote Control CAUTION • Do not use a used battery a nd a new ba ttery tog ether. • Do not use dif ferent types of batteries at t he same time. • T ake out the batteries if the remote c ontrol is not to be used for a long t ime. Otherwise it may cause leakage.

6 Connections There is no dif ference betwee n the l eft and right spea kers. Afte r connect ing the speake rs, gen tly pull t he speaker cords to make s ure that th ey are firmly conn ected. CAUTION • Do not s hort-circuit the and speaker terminals.
Introduction 7 Preparati on ■ T o listen to a Digit al Audio Player NOTE • The System autom atically switches the source to LINE when the connected Digital Audio Player starts to play—QP Link ( page 18). • The sound signal from the Digital Audio Player cannot be transmitted through the LINE OUT jack.
