EN 23 Night-Scope Mak es dark subjects or areas ev en brighter than they would be under good natural lighting. EN 24 Fade/Wipe Effects These eff ects let you mak e pro-style scene transitions. Use them to spice up the transition from one scene to the ne xt. Fade or Wipe works when tape recording is started or when you stop recording.
EN 25 FOR RECORDING Snapshot (For T ape Recording) This f eature lets you record still images that look lik e photogr aphs onto a tape. EN 40 SYSTEM CONNECTIONS “ ACCESSING FILES ” appears on the LCD monitor while the PC is accessing data in the camcorder or the camcorder is transferring a file to the PC. NEVER disconnect the USB cable while “ ACCESSING FILES ” is displayed on the LCD monitor since this can result in product damage.
EN 41 TROUBLESHOOTING The f ocus does not adjust automatically . • Focus is set to the Manual mode. ¥ Set F ocus to the Auto mode ( 墌 pg. 26). • The recording was done in a dark place, or the contrast w as low . • The lens is dir ty or co vered with condensation.
EN 42 TROUBLESHOOTING The Black & White Fader does not work. • The Sepia or Monotone mode is activated. ¥ T ur n off Sepia and Monotone ( 墌 pg. 23). The image looks like the shutter speed is too slow . • When shooting in the dark, the unit becomes highly sensitive to light when “ GAIN UP ” is set to “ AU TO ” in the Menu Screen.
