– 12 – English Receiving FM Stations with RDS This section is ONL Y FOR CA-MXJ35R. RDS allows FM stations to send an additional signal along with their regular progr am signals. For example, the stations send their station names, as well as information about what type of program they broadcast, suc h as sports or music, etc.
– 13 – English Switching to a Program T ype of Y our Choice T emporarily By recei ving EON data sent by FM RDS stations, the EON function allo ws the unit to switch temporarily to a broadcast program of your choice (T A, NEWS, and INFO) from a dif ferent station.
– 14 – English Playing Back CDs Loading CDs 1 Pr ess 0 f or the disc tray (CD 1 to 3) y ou want to load a CD onto. The unit automatically turns on and the disc tray comes out. T he Powered Rolling Panel also opens automatically . 2 Place a disc correctl y on the circle of the disc tray , with its label side up.
