6 Remote control buttons and basic functions T urn the TV on from standby and vice versa Programme and recall 4 favourite channels (colour buttons: red, green, yellow , blue) Choose the TV channel you wish to programme Press and hold any button PROGRAMMED! ■ Repeat to programme another favourite channel.
7 PREP ARA TION TV buttons and functions Operating the menus T o display the MENU. T o select a T op menu. T o select a second menu. T o select, adjust or choose the setting of a function. When the cursor is at MENU. T o display other pages. T o return to the previous menu.
8 Operating the menus (continued) Y ou can use the DVD MENU by switch channel to VIDEO-2 or press the DVD MENU button on the remote control. See the menus location in the below table.
9 FUNCTIONS Picture setting COLOUR SYSTEM Y ou can select the appropriate colour system when the picture is not clear or no colour appears. AUTO → P AL → SECAM → NTSC3.
10 Picture setting (continued) AI ECO SENSOR (ECO)/ECO MODE Y ou can automatically adjust TV screen contrast according to the brightness of your room. OFF Cancel the function. MODE-1/ECO-1 Mild contrast (recommended). MODE-2/ECO-2 Even contrast. DISPLA Y (for Al ECO SENSOR only) Display the graphic of the function.
1 1 FUNCTIONS TELETEXT Y ou can watch the T eletext broadcast channel with TEXT function. 1 TV mode → TEXT twin mode → TEXT mode 2 Selecting other T eletext pages. OR OR 3 OR to return to the TV mode. Y ou can also operate the teletext using the following buttons: (Hold) Hold a teletext page.
12 STEREO / I ß II ( I/II ) Y ou can enjoy the stereo and bilingual broadcasted programmes. Select stereo sound. Select monaural sound. I Select bilingual I (sub I ). II Select bilingual II (sub II ). This function is only available in RF mode. Y ou can also operate this function from the menu.
13 FUNCTIONS AUTO SIGNAL DETECT When the DVD input signal is detected, the input mode will automatically change to VIDEO-2 and when the DVD input signal is not detected, the input mode will automatically change to RF previous input mode. DVD players: Press the “POWER ON” button on the player for signal detection.
