Product Information 1 AXR-NWS NetW ave Server Pr oduct Inf ormation The AXR-NWS NetW a ve Serv er is a two-wa y Ra dio Frequency (RF) de vice employing 2.4 GHz digital communications . The AXR-NWS is compatible with both Axcess an d NetLinx Integrated Central Controllers, and com municates with up to 16 wireless devices.

Installation 3 AXR-NWS NetW ave Server Installation Before installing the wireless commun ications equipment, the AXR-NWS GROUP ADDRESS and GR OUP ID DIP switches must be set. The AXR-NWS can be installed on any flat surf ace. A v oid installations that place the AXR-NWS inside an equipment rack wh ere the transmission /reception is hindered.

Installation 5 AXR-NWS NetW ave Server Setting the GROUP ADDRESS DIP switch 1. Determine the number of devices to control. 2. Allocate the device address range in sets of 16 (touch panel addresses can range from 0 - 255, but typically begin at 128). 3.

Firmware Upgrades 11 AXR-NWS NetW ave Server Firmware Upgrades Firmware upgrades allow you to install the latest av ailable operating system for the AXR-N WS. Y ou will need a Phillips screwdriv er and a non-conducting flat-blade tool t o slip under the installed firmware IC to lift it up and out of the IC socket.
