12 MO VE CH. (CHANNEL) INST ALLA TION 1 The MO VE function can be used to mov e a channel to a different progr amme number . Press the MO VE button to star t the MO VE function. 2 Use the UP/DO WN buttons to select the progr amme number to which you want to mo ve the channel and press the MO VE button again.
13 1 If the picture is not displa yed correctly , use the PICTURE func- tion to change the colour system. Use the LEFT/RIGHT b uttons to mov e the cursor to below “PIC- TURE”. 2 Use the UP/DO WN buttons to select the colour system which displa ys the picture correctly .
14 INST ALLA TION MANU AL TUNE FINE TUNE Manually register the channel to a progr amme number . When no menu is displa yed, use the UP/ DO WN buttons or the NUMBER 0-9 b uttons to select the program number to which y ou want to register the channel.
15 3 Select MANU AL TUNE with the UP/DO WN buttons . 4 Press the LEFT/RIGHT b uttons to search f or a channel. Scanning stops when the TV finds a channel.
16 D AIL Y USE SELECTING A PR OGRAMME NUMBER The set has a total of 100 progr amme numbers, 0...99. The NUMBER button 0...9 are used f or direct programme selection. In order two digit prog ramme, press the second numbered b utton within two seconds .
17 RECALL The RECALL b utton is used to display the current status: programme n umber , station name, cloc k. This displa y appears f or 5 seconds unless any b utton is pressed.
18 D AIL Y USE PICTURE ADJUSTMENT 1 Press the MENU b utton, then press the RIGHT b utton. 2 Select an item with the UP/DO WN b uttons, then adjust it with the LEFT/ RIGHT b uttons .
19 3 When the adjustments ha v e been completed, press the MENU b utton twice and e xit from the MENU . Note: Y our adjustments are automatically stored in the F A V OURITE mode of PICTURE MODEs. Contrast 38 MENU 2 Use the f ollowing b uttons to operate the menus .
20 D AIL Y USE USING THE TIMER MENU CLOCK 1 Select TIMER from the MENU with the UP/DO WN buttons , then press the RIGHT b utton. 2 Use the UP/DO WN buttons to select the item and use the RIGHT b utton to mov e the cursor to the setting position.

22 D AIL Y USE W AKE UP CHILD LOCK 1 Y ou can use the W AKE UP func- tion to automatically tur n the TV on at a set time. Y ou can also select the channel to be display ed when the TV is tur ned on. Select W AKE UP from the TIMER menu with the UP/DO WN buttons, then press the RIGHT button.

24 TELETEXT 1-SWITCHING TELETEXT ON/OFF Set the VCR/ /D VD switch to the (te xt) position, then press the TELETEXT button ( ). T o retur n to the TV mode, press the TELETEXT button again. Note: Some of the b uttons may not work if the VCR/ /D VD switch is not set to the (te xt) position.
