– 15 – English Using the Video CD Player (Video CDs) Y ou can play video CDs (with or without the Playback Control (PBC) function) to watch the picture on your TV while listening to the sound through your JVC Micro Component System. Bef ore playing video CDs Make sure that the connection between the System and your TV is correct.
– 16 – English Playing Video CDs with the PBC Function Using the Menu Screen (Menu-Driven Play) Before playing, make sure that Repeat indicator “ ” or “ ALL ” is not lit. If lit, press the REPEA T button on the Remote Control until “PBC” appears on the display .
– 17 – English A selection menu is displayed when you start playing a video CD with PBC. The selection menu sho ws a list of numbers f or selection. Some video CDs may show mo ving pictures or a divided screen. • When a list of numbers is displayed, selecting a number shows its contents.
– 18 – English Display of Operating Status Y ou can view the current opera ting status on the TV screen. Press the ON SCREEN b utton. Pressing the abov e button alternates between on-screen display ON and OFF . • Once you hav e turned on the on-screen display , the track number and playing time are alw ays displayed on the TV screen.

– 21 – English CD Direct Recording Everything on the CD goes onto the tape in the order it is on the CD, or according to the order you ha ve made for Program play . On the unit ONL Y : 1 Put a r ecordable cassette in with the exposed part of the tape down.
– 22 – English Using the Multiplex CDs If the source you are going to play is a multiplex CD, you can use the Multiplex Sound function. What is Multiplex Sound? In a multiplex CD or VCD, two separa te languages are recorded on the left and right channel.
