MTS (Multi-Channel T elevision Sound) MTS technology allows several audio signals to be broadcast at once, giving you a choice in what you wish to hear with a TV program. In addition to mono or stereo sound, an MTS broadcast may also include a Second Audio Program (SAP).
Closed Captions subtitles are usually found on caption channel CC1. Some programs may include additional text information which is usually found on text channel T1. The other channels are available for future use. Closed captioning may not work cor r ectly if the signal being received is weak or if you are playing a video tape.
