MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE • Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equip- ment is in safe working condition. • Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building where fumes may reach an open flame or spark. • Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclo- sure.

19 INST ALL SEA T Remove the hardware securing seat to the cardboard pack ing and set the hardware aside for assembly of seat to tractor . Remove the cardboard packing and discard. NOTE: Check that the flex is correctly con nect ed to the safe ty switch (1) on the seat hold er .
20 INST AL ACIÓN DEL ASIENTO Remueva la manilla de ajuste y la arandela plana que ase- guran el asiento al empaque de cartón y póngalos de lado para poder utilizarlos durante la instalación del asiento sobre el tractor . Remueva y desechese del embalaje de cartón.

22 02604 WARNING: P ositive terminal must be con nect ed first to prevent sparks from accidental ground ing. Remove terminal caps and discard. Connect the red cable to + and then the black earth cable to -. Screw tight the cables. Grease the battery poles with vaseline to prevent cor ro sion.
23 TO ASSEMBLE BAGGER • Feed top bagger frame tube (1) through loop (2) at the top of bagger fabric (leave loop segments on the ends loose). • First, align two holes as shown on side of bagger frame upper weldment (4) with corresponding holes in top bagger frame tube (1).
24 • Slide rubber seal (23) to top of metal bagger handle (24). • Slide bagger handle (24) down through bagger cover and frame upper weldment holes.
25 TO INST ALL BAGGER COMPONENT TO TRACTOR TO INST ALL BAGGER FULL LEVER/P ADDLE • Before installation, tractor engine must be shut off and parking brake engaged. • Install latch springs (1) in mounting holes on back plate. • Insert hex bolt (2) through each latch spring hole and corresponding hole in back plate.

28 • V or der Installation den Motor des T raktors abschalten und die Parkbremse ziehen. • Die Arretierfedern (1) in den Montagebohrungen der Montageplatte einsetzen. • Die Sechskantschrauben (2) durch das Loch der Arretierfeder und die entsprechenden Bohrungen der Montageplatte einsetzen.

31 • Avant l’installation, il faut arrêter le moteur du tracteur et serrer le frein à main. • Installez les ressorts de fermeture (1) dans les orifices de montage de la plaque arrière. • Insérez le boulon hexagonal (2) à travers l’orifice du ressort de fermeture et l’orifice correspondant de la plaque arrière.

33 24 26 25 23 22 22 21 13 13 14 16 17 15 • Gire el lado derecho hacia arriba. • Coloque dos tornillos de cabeza redonda de 1/4 (13) en la parte inferior del bastidor frontal de la ensacadora (14) y apriete las contratuercas a mano (15).
34 3 2 1 1 • Antes de la instalación es preciso detener el motor del tractor y poner el freno de estacionamiento. • Instale muelles de cierre (1) en los orificios de montaje de la placa de apoyo. • Inserte un pasador hexagonal (2) por el orificio de cada muelle y el orificio correspondiente de la placa de apoyo.

36 24 26 25 23 22 22 21 13 13 14 16 17 15 • Capovolgere il tutto. • Montare due bulloni a testa tonda da 1/4” (13) sul fondo del telaio anteriore del sacco, serrando a mano i controdadi (15). • Inserire il telaio anteriore del sacco (14) attraverso gli anelli di tessuto nella parte anteriore del sacco.
37 PER MONT ARE UNA LEVA/P AL A RIEMPIMENTO SACCO • Prima dell’installazione, spegnere il motore del trattore e azionare il freno di stazionamento. • Individuare l’area dell’interruttore (2) riempimento sacco, posizionandosi in piedi dietro il trattore con il sacco tolto dalla piastra di supporto (1).

40 • Neem de “opvangbak vol”-hendel (3) van de opvangbak en schuif het uitsteeksel (4) in de bovenste gleuf en draai de hendel (3) totdat deze op zijn plaats klikt (Zie Fig.

43 2. Throttle and choke control The accelerator control regulates the motor speed and also the speed of the blades. If the lever is in its forward position the choke function is con nect ed. If the lever is in its reverse position the motor is in neu tral.

45 4. Gear shift lever The gear box has positions forward, neutral and re verse. Gear changing can take place from neutral to top gear with- out stopping in each gear position. Disengage the motor at each gear position! Start can take place irrespective of the gear lever position.

67 Operator Presence System and Reverse Opera- tion System (ROS) Be sure operator presence and reverse operation sys tems are work ing properly . If your tractor does not function as described, repair the problem immediately .

69 Blades For best results mower blades must be kept sharp. Re place bent or damaged blades. Sharpening can be carried out with a file or grinding disc. NOTE: It is very important that both blades are sharpened equally to avoid imbalance. BL ADE REMOV AL: • Raise mower to highest position to allow access to blades.

71 6 T o Check Brake If tractor requires more than five (5) feet to stop at highest speed in high est gear on a level, dry concrete or paved sur - face, then brake must be serviced. Y ou may also check brake by: 1. Park tractor on a level, dry concrete or paved surface, depress brake pedal all the way down and engage park- ing brake.

76 T o Level Mower Make sure tires are properly inflated to the PSI shown on tires. If tires are over or under inflated, it may affect the ap- pearance of your lawn and lead you to think the mower is not adjusted properly . VISUAL SIDE- TO-SIDE ADJUSTMENT 1.
77 Ausnivellieren des Mähers V ergewissern Sie sich, dass die Reifen auf den Druck aufge- blasen sind, der auf den Reifen angegeben ist. 81 De maaiunit nivelleren Zorg ervoor dat de banden tot de PSI-waarde die op de banden zelf staat aangegeven zijn opgepompt. Als de banden te hard of te zacht zijn, kan dat het uiterlijk van uw grasveld beïnvloeden zodat u denkt dat de maaiunit niet goed is afgesteld.
82 6 TRANSAXLE GEAR SHIFT LEVER NEUTRAL AD JUST MENT The transaxle should be in neutral when the gear shift lever is in neutral (N) (lock gate) position. The adjustment is preset at the factory; however , if adjustment is needed, proceed as follows: • Make sure transaxle is in neutral (N).

84 Replacement of drive belt Dismantle the cutting unit as described previously Engage the parking brake and work off the belt upwards from the pulley (1), the clutch pulley (2) and the engine's drive wheel (3). Work off the belt upwards from the pulley at the rear axle (4).
