7 Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be r emov ed befor e using the appliance. K eep all packaging a wa y from childr en. Y ou are advised to k eep all the transit bolts for re-use in case the machine is to be transported again. Using a spanner unscre w and remo ve the tw o rear bottom scre ws.
8 The appliance has an inlet hose, with female 3/4” BSP thread connector . If this connection is not compatible with the plumbing of the existing installation, a variety of connectors are a vailable from g ood hardwar e stores and plumbers mer chants to suit most domestic plumbing.
9 2. Onto a sink outlet spigot. If the outlet spigot has not been used befor e , remov e any blanking plug that ma y be in place. Push the drain hose onto the spigot and secur e with a clip if requir ed, ensure a loop is formed in the drain hose (see diagram) to pre vent waste fr om the sink entering the washing machine.

12 • “ Pre wash” : select this option if you wish y our laundr y to be pre washed befor e the main wash ( not a vailable for W ool and “ 30 Minute wash ”) . The pre wash ends with a short spin at 650 rpm in pr ogrammes for cotton and synthetic fabrics, whereas in the pr ogramme for delicate fabrics the water is only drained.

14 • An alarm code indicates a fault in the machine operation (see the rele vant chapter). 8 Pr ogramme phase indicator lights When you select a pr ogramme , the lights rele vant to the phases that form the pr ogramme light up .
15 Pr o gramme inf ormation Soak 30° This is a special pr ogramme for hea vily soiled laundr y . The machine performs a soak of about 30 minutes at 30°C . At the end of the soak time the machine will stop automatically with water left in the tub . The displa y will show a flashing zero .
16 Using the washing machine Befor e the first wash, we recommend that you pour 2 litr es of water into the main w ash compar tment of the detergent dr awer in order to activate the ECO valve. Then run a cotton c ycle at 95°C , without any laundr y in the machine , to remo ve any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub.
17 6. Select the spin speed or the “None” option Press the “ Spin ” button r epeatedly button if order to select the desired spin speed or the “None” (no spin) option.
