Installation ● This appliance is hea vy . Care should be tak en when mo ving it. ● Check your dishwasher f or any transport damage. Never connect a damaged machine. If your dishwasher is damaged, you should contact the J ohn Le wis branch from which y ou pur chased it.
● Ensure that the door of the dishwasher is al wa ys closed when it is not being loaded or unloaded. In this wa y you will a void anybody tripping o ver the open door and hurting themselves. ● Do not sit or stand on the open door . ● Isolate the appliance fr om the power supply and turn off the water supply after use.

Unpacking ● Remov e all packaging befor e positioning the machine. ● If possible, position the machine next to a water tap and a drain. W ater supply connections W e recommend that this dishwasher is connected to y our cold water supply .
Fitting under a counter (kitchen worktop or sink) By remo ving the machine’ s worktop , you can install it under a close fitting sink unit or a pre-existing top , pro viding the dimensions of the recess cor respond to those sho wn in the picture.
If you fit y our own plug, the colours of the wires in the mains lead of your a ppliance ma y not correspond with the markings identifying the terminals in your plug.

10. Multi tab button This appliance is equipped with the “Multi tab” function, that allows the use of the combi detergent tablets with a combined cleaning, rinsing and salt function (“3 in 1”, “4 in 1” etc .
Befor e using your dishwasher f or the first time: 1. Ensure that the electrical and water connections compl y with the installation instructions 2. Remov e all packaging fr om inside the appliance 3. Set the water softener 4. P our 1 litre of water inside the salt container and then fill with dishwasher salt 5.
a) Setting manually 1. Open the dishwasher door . 2. Remov e the low er bask et fr om the dishwasher . 3. T urn the water hardness dial to position 1 or 2 (see table).
Rinse aid Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thor ough rinsing, and spot and streak fr ee dr ying. The dispenser , which is positioned inside the door , holds about 110 ml of rinse aid, which is sufficient for 16 - 40 dishwashing pr ogrammes, depending upon the dosage setting.
● Check if it’ s necessar y to refill with dishwasher salt or rinse aid ● Load cutler y and dishes into the dishwasher . ● Fill with dishwasher detergent . ● Select a wash pr ogramme suitable for the cutler y and dishes. ● Start the wash programme.
Open the door and slide out the bask ets to load the dishes. The lo w er bask et The low er bask et is designed to tak e saucepans, lids, plates, salad bowls, cutler y etc. Ser ving dishes and large lids should be arranged ar ound the edge of the bask et, ensuring that the spra y arms can turn freel y .
The upper bask et The upper bask et is designed for plates (dessert plates, saucers, dinner plates of up to 24 cm in diameter), salad bowls, cups and glasses. Arrange items on and underneath the cup racks so that water can reach all surfaces. For taller items, the cup racks can be folded upwards.
Use of detergent Only use deterg ents specifically designed for use in dishwashers. Please obser v e the manufactur er’ s dosing and storag e recommendations as stated on the detergent packa ging. Using no more than the cor rect amount of detergent contributes to r educing pollution.
Concentrated detergent Modern detergents for dishwashers ar e almost exclusivel y low- alkaline concentrated detergents with natural enzymes in tablet form.

8. End of the washing pr ogramme The dishwasher will automatically stop . The “End of cycle” indicator light illuminates. The “Programme time” backlit light and the indicator light of the pr ogramme just ended will remain on. In the digital displa y appears 0, only in this case the pr ogramme has ended.
Y ou must disconnect the appliance fr om the electricity supply , befor e you can car r y out an y cleaning and maintenance work. External cleaning Clean the external surfaces of the machine and contr ol panel with a damp soft cloth. If necessar y use only neutral detergents.
