4 Description of the Appliance 1 Electronic Timer 2 Control Panel 3 Top Oven/Grill 4 Main Oven Your built-in oven comprises of a conventional top oven and dual grill in the top compartme nt. The main fan oven is the larger of the two ovens. It can be automatically controlled by the electronic timer .

8 How to Finish Unpacking • Place packed appliance next to the space in which it will be installed. • Remove the appliance packing except for bottom tray, which should be left in position until the appliance is ready to be fitted into its cabinet.
9 Connecting to the Mains Terminal Warning: This appliance must be earthed. • We recommend you use a new length of 6mm 2 twin core and earthed cable to ensure your safety. • Make connection as shown in Fig. 7 by proceeding as follows:- • Preform wires to the appropriate shape to suit fitting into the mains terminal block.

15 To cancel the Minute Timer If you change your mind and want to cancel the 'Minute Timer', press the Time Functions control button until the 'Minute Timer' indicator neon flashes and then the decrease control ( - ) until 0.00 shows in the display as Fig.

18 Hints and Tips • M o s t f o o d s s h o u l d b e p l a c e d o n t h e g r i d i n t h e grill pan to allow maximum circulation of air to lift the food out of the fats and juices. • Adjust the grid and grill pan runner position to allow for different thicknesses of food.
19 Top Oven The top oven is the smaller of the two ovens. It is heated by elements in the top and bottom of the oven. It is designed for cooking sm aller quantities of food on one shelf. It give s especially good results if used to cook fruit cakes, sweet and savoury flans or quiche.
20 Hints and Tips • Arrange the shelves in the required positions before switching the oven ON. Shelf positions are counted from the bottom upwards. • There should always be at least 2.5cm (1”) between the top of the food and the element. This gives best cooking results and allo ws room for rise in yeast mixtures, Yorkshire puddings etc.
21 Main Fan Oven The Main fan oven is particularly suitable for cooking larger quantities of food. The advantages of Fan oven cooking are: Preheating The Fan oven quickly reaches its temperature so it is not usually necessary to preheat the oven.
22 To Fit the Main Fan Oven Shelves The shelves should be fitted with the straight ro ds uppermost on the frame and the forms towards the back of the oven. To remove a shelf slide the shelf towards you until the shelf stop is reached. Tilt shelf up at the front so that the stops clear the side supports.
23 Main Oven Cooking Chart The oven temperatures are intended as a guide only. It may be necess ary to increase or decrease the temperatures by 10°C to suit individual preferences and requirements.

25 Defrost in the Main Oven This main oven function en ables you to defrost most foods without heat faster than some conventional methods as the oven fan circulates air around the food. It is particularly suitable for delicate frozen foods which are to be served cold e.
26 ) Cleaning the Oven Before cleaning always allow the applian ce to cool down before switching off at the el ectricity supply. This appliance cannot be cleaned with steam or with a steam cleaning machine. The oven should be kept cl ean at all times.
27 Cleaning Inside the Ovens The sides and back of the grill/top ov en and main oven compartments are coated with a special Stayclean coating. They should not be cleaned manually. The vitreous enamel main oven base and grill compartment base can be cleaned using normal oven cleaners with care.

29 ) ) Cleaning the Shelves, Wire- work runners and Grill/Oven furniture All removable parts, except the grill pan handle can be washed in the dishwasher. The grill pan, grill pan grid, oven shelves and wirework runners may be cleaned using a soap impregnated steel wool pad.
