7 Defrosting The freezer compartment will become progressively covered with frost. This should be removed with a plastic scraper whenever the thickness of frost exceeds 1 /4". During this operation it is not necessar y to switch off the power supply or to remove the foodstuffs.
8 I I n n s s t t a a l l l l a a t t i i o o n n Positioning Place the freezer horizontally on a firm sur face, resting on all four feet. Use a wooden block or similar object to compensate f or any bumps/holes in the sur face. The room should be dr y and adequately ventilat ed.
