Intr oduction Thank you for purchasing th e Audiovox MZ7TFT T ouch Screen Monitor . This package cont ains (1) one MZ7TFT , Installatio n and Operation Manual, mounting bracket with tool, wiring harne ss, touch screen expansion module and a three year limited warranty .
MZ7TFT 3 Wiring 1. Align the ridges on either end of the combined in put cable (VIDEO IN, AUDIO L, AUDIO R , REAR TS, GROUND and ACC) and connect the cable to the male connector on the back of the MZ7T FT . The connector will only fit when the notched areas are prop erly aligned.
MZ7TFT 4 T ouch Screen Expansion Module 1. Connect the AUDIO R and AUDIO L cables from the MZ7TFT to the Mul- tizone Headpho ne cables on the back of your compatible he ad unit. 2. Connect the VIDEO IN cable from t he MZ7T FT to the V i deo Out cable on the back of your compatible he a d unit.
MZ7TFT 5 Installation/Mounting 1. Insert the metal end of th e center arm on the mounting bracket into the slot on the back of the monitor . 2. T urn the large plastic nut to secure the bra cket to the monitor . 3. T ighten the smaller plastic nut to further secu re the br acket.
MZ7TFT 6 Operation Power On/Off/Standby The input allows volt age ranges from DC 10.8V to 16 V , which includes the DC 12V car power su pp ly . After connecting the powe r , the monitor will be in standby mode. Press the POWER button to turn the monitor on.
MZ7TFT 7 channel, and each MZ7T FT must be set to transmit on the same channel as the h eadphone (i.e., l eft seat monitor/h eadphones set to channel A and right seat mon ito r/head phones set to channel B). This will prevent interfer ence of audio by the IR signal being transmitted from two monitors on the same cha nnel.
MZ7TFT 8 Care and Maintenance • Do not remove the r ear p anel of this product. If in nee d o f ser vice, plea se call a qualified technician. • Keep away from strong light while using this product so as to obtain th e clearest and the most color ful picture.
