3 I NS T A L LA T ION Location • Do not install refrigerator near oven, radiator or other heat source. If not possible, shield refrigerator with cabinet material. • Do not install where temperature falls below 55° F (13° C) or rises above 110° F (43° C).
T o Disconnect the W ater Line: • Push in white collar (A) and hold. • Pull the door-side tube from the connector (B) . T o Reconnect the W ater Line: • Firmly push tube 5 ⁄ 8 ” into the connector. Use lines on the tube as a guide for full inser tion.
5 I NS T A L LA T ION Lev eling T o protect personal pr operty and refrigerator from damage, observ e the following: • Protect vinyl or other flooring with cardboard, rugs, or other protective material. • Do not use power tools when performing leveling procedure.
I NS T A L LA T ION Connecting the W ater Supply (select models) T o avoid pr operty damage or possible injury , follow basic pr ecautions, including the following: • Consult a plumber to connect 1 ⁄ 4 ” O.D. copper tubing to household plumbing to assure compliance with loc al code s and ordinance s.
2. Align notches on back of handle with retaining clips on doors. Insert clips into notche s and slide handle down until it cont act s bottom trim. 3. Replace top door trim and Phillips screws.
I NS T A L LA T ION 8 T o Remove: 1. Release top door trim (select models) by removing Phillips screws from top of fresh food door and ret ain screws for later use. 2. Grasp handle firmly with both hands. Slide handle upward approximately 3 ⁄ 4 ” to release.
9 T EMP ER A T URE C ON T ROL S T ouch T emper atur e Contr ols The controls are located at the top front of the refrigerator compartment. Control Initial Contr ol Settings After plugging the refrigerator in, set the controls. • Pressing the or pads adjusts the controls to the desired setting.
10 T EMP ER A T URE C ON T ROL S T risensor Climate Contr ol (select models) The control is located at the top front of the fresh food compartment. Control Initial T emperatur e Setting T emperatures are pre set at the factory at 3 8° F (3° C) in the fresh food compar tment and 0° F (-1 7° C) in the freezer compartment.
11 s T EMP ER A T URE C ON T ROL S P ress the T emp Alarm p ad o nce t o stop the audible alarm. The T emp Alarm light will continue to flash and the temperatures will alternate until the temperature s have stabilized. T o turn off T emp Alarm, press and hold the T emp Alarm pad for three seconds.
12 F R ESH F OOD F EA TU R E S Shelv es Y our refrigerator has either Spill-Catcher™ or non- sealed shelves. Spill-Catcher™ shelve s have a spill retainer edge which allows for easier cleanup and some are equipped with a slide out feature. T o slide out (select models), grasp the front of the shelf and pull forward.
13 T o Remove Dairy Door: • Press in side s of dairy door and pull out. T o Install Dairy Door: • Slide side s of dairy door inside dairy center until hinge points snap into place. Door Buckets Door Buckets c an be moved to meet individual storage needs.
14 F R ESH F OOD F EA TU R E S T emperatur e-Controlled Dr awer This drawer can be used for storage of meats, deli or other miscellaneous items. The drawer features a control that adjusts the amount of cold air allowed into the drawer. Set the control to Cheese to provide a normal refrigerator temperature.
15 T o Install: • Slide bin into railing below ice maker until bin locks into place. Drop ice maker arm to activate ice maker . Important: Ice bin must be locked in place for proper ice dispensing. T urn auger driver behind bin counterclockwise (as shown) to properly align ice bin with auger driver .
16 I CE A N D W AT E R Automatic Ice Maker (select models) Note: Energy rating guide s that are posted on the refrigerator at the time of purchase do not include optional ice maker energy usage.
17 Dispenser Light (select models) A light activates within the dispenser area at full power when dispensing ice or water with the main dispenser pad. Dispenser P ad The Dispenser P ad is loc ated on the back wall of the dispensing area. When the dispenser pad is pressed, the selection chosen on the dispenser control panel will dispense.
18 Dispenser L O C K (select models) The Dispenser L OC K prevent s ice or water from being dispensed. T o Lock Dispenser: • Press and hold the L OCK button for three seconds. A green indicator light above button will illuminate when the dispenser is locked.

27 Low er Fr eezer Section 1. Pinch both side s of light cover to remove. 2. Remove light bulb. Replace with appliance bulb no greater than 40 watts. 3. Pinch both side s of the light cover to snap into place. Ice and W ater Dispenser 1. Locate light bulb inside top edge of dispenser frame.
28 C AR E AN D C LEAN I N G Upon Y our Return: After a Short V acation or Absence: For models with automatic ice makers or dispensers: • Reconnect the water supply and turn on supply valve (see pages 6-7). • Monitor water connection for 24 hours and correct leaks if necess ary .

I NS T A L LA T ION 42 1. Créez une boucle (diamètre minimum de 60 cm/2 pi) avec le tube en cuivre. Évitez d’ entor tiller le tube en cuivre en l’ enroulant. N’ utilisez pas le tube en plastique. 2. Retirez le capuchon en plastique de l’ orifice d’arrivée du robinet d’ eau.
