5 AMPLITUDE SHADING Amplitude Shading Amplitude shading is a technique that allows the co v erage pattern of a loudspeaker arra y to be shaped by adjusting the relative acoustic output of some of the de vices in the arra y . Most often, arra y shading inv olves only the mid and high-frequency sections of the arra y .
6 Bi-Amplified System In a bi-amplified system, arra y shading is accomplished by connecting separate amplifier channels to the HF section of each VRX932LA. In larger arra ys, a single amplifier channel ma y be used for two adjacent loudspeak- ers. Arra y shading is then accomplished by adjusting the gain of the HF amplifier channels .
7 SYSTEM PR OCESSOR TUNINGS The following table represent s the JBL-approved tuning for the BSS366. If you have a processor for which VRX932LA settings have not been created, the t able may be used as a starting point to set your processor .
8 DEPLO YING THE SYSTEM The VRX932LA is a flexib le speaker system that can be deplo yed in g round-suppor ted or suspended applica- tions. The follo wing inf ormation will help you set up your VRX932LA system safely and eff ectively .
