Using Intermount III™ in American and Japanese cars with openings for 6-1/2" speakers. Important: When using the steel mounting rings, you must make sure that the rings are mounted to a completely fl at surface. Using Intermount III™ in European and American 165mm openings or custom-mounting the speaker.
Remove the orange wire cover by inserting a small screwdriver into the notch between the two terminals and prying upwards. Disconnect the tweeter wires from the terminal.
06 Figure 6a. Figure 6b. Remove the top of the passive crossover by squeezing the sides and lifting off the top. Mount the crossover with screws or wire ties through the mounting holes. Connect the wires between the crossover, and between the woofer and tweeter as shown.
