5 SUBWOOFER PLACEMENT & OPERA TION Subwoofer Start with the subwoofer as close to one of the front corners as possible to take advantage of solid-angle gains. If you get too much bass, adjust the ”VOLUME” towards ”MIN”. The result will be lower distor- tion and higher reliability .
6 OPERA TION With LFE Connection If you are using the LFE input, the subwoofer's CROSSOVER control is NOT active, because this function is controlled by your surround processor .
7 SPEAKER CONNECTIONS Separate and strip the ends of the speaker wire as shown. Speakers and amplifiers/ receivers have corresponding (+) and (–) terminals.
8 LINE LEVEL If your receiver has a pair of stereo subwoofer outputs, con- nect interconnect cable from the receiver's left and right subwoofer outputs to the corre- sponding inputs marked LINE LEVEL IN L and R on the subwoofer .
9 Subwoofer Crossover Subwoofer Level V olume Subwoofer playback level can be adjusted using the rear panel V olume control.
