3 CHOOSING A CAMER A MOUNTING L OC A TION The 4 52 3 1 C olor Camera can be positioned on a desk top, or mounted to a wall. It is sui table for indoo r or outdoo r use. When cho osing a mountin g location, please be advised: Do not use in wet lo cation s.
4 CONNEC T ING TO A T V The 45 23 1 connect s to the vi deo and audi o input jack s on the b ack of your T V , V CR or DVR . If you are not using a VCR or DVR, connect the 4 5 23 1 C olor Camera to your T V as show n below. To v i e w : 1. Switch on t he T V; set the volume to mid point .

7 It turns o n/ of f the Infra -Red (IR) LEDs on the front of the camera . These LEDs p rovide ar tifi cial light th at allow s the camera to ‘see’ in th e dark . Night Vision will appear a s a Black and White image. When the image se nsor detec t s enough li ght, color will retur n to the ima ges.
8 3. Connec t the camera cable to t he T V , VCR or DVR by connec ting t he 3-Wire ad apter cable to the e nd of the 60 f t . cable coming f rom the camera . (See diagram). Locate t he connec tor on t he 3-Wire adapter l abele d ‘power ’ and plug in t he AC adapter .
9 4. Run the 60 ’ cable from t he camera’s locat ion to the l ocati on of the T V , VCR or DVR . Use th e cable clips provide d to keep the cabl e in place. (See Notes on Cable Ins tallatio n.) Do not run cable in side wall; T ake care not to pierce, punc ture or cut th e cable when securing.
