3 S A FE T Y I N S T R U C T I O N S ❍ Do not open the outer casing of the I onic Pro ® ionic air purifier . Attempting to open the unit will cause the warranty to be voided and could cause serious personal injury to the user and/or result in considerable damage to the unit.
5 I M P O R TA N T W A R N I N G S the unit, see Diagram B or F for the loca- tion of the Wir e Cleaning Mechanism. Lift and lower the Wire Cleaning Mechanism three to four times to thoroughly clean the internal ionizing wires (see Diagram H in the “ CLEANING & MAINTENANCE” section).
7 O P E R AT IN G T H E I O N I C P R O ® IO N I C A I R P U R I F I E R O P E R A T I N G T H E I O N I C P R O ® Getting Ready Locate a level surface on which to place your Io nic P ro ® ionic air purifier and a grounded 120v outlet (follow warnings described in the “SAFETY INSTR UCTIONS” section of this manual).
9 C L E A N I N G & M A I N T E N A N C E Operation Set up the I onic Pro ® ionic air purifier as described in “Getting Ready ”. Press the ON/OFF button to activate your ionic air purifier and get r eady to enjoy clean, ionized air that cycles through pr e-programmed run/rest inter vals according to the setting you select.
T o Clean the Ionizing Wires The internal ionizing wires need to be cleaned after every two weeks of use. There is a Wir e Cleaning M echanism used to clean the internal ionizing wires which you slide up and down to scrape off particle residue. (see Diagram B of the Operating P anel to locate the Wir e Cleaning M echanism).
13 T R O U B L E - S H O O T I N G 12 CLEANING & MAINTENANCE Deep Cleaning N oisy functioning (audible loud buzzing sound) is a sign that your Ionic P ro ® ionic air purifier is ov erdue for a complete clean-up of the collection blades and the internal ionizing wires.
