5 MUL TIFUNCTIONAL INDICA TOR LIGHT There are two different functions: Ring Indicator: Fla shes when the telephone rings with a n incoming call Me ssage-W aiting Indicator: Illumin ates when a message is waiting in your voice mail system (de pends on system compatibility).
6 T ONE / PULSE SWITCH Used to select the di aling mode, either T ONE (DTMF) or PULSE (Decadic). The correct mode depends on the telephone network. If in a ny doubt, conta ct your authorised Interquartz dealer .
7 SA VE KEY The save key ca n be used either to save the redial me mory by simply pre ssing the save key after a number is dialed a nd bef ore ha nging up the phone. T o use the save key a s a note pad during a call: 1. press the store key 2. enter the desired number (up to 32 digits) 3.
8 HANDSET POLARITY SWITCH Located on the underside of the telephone, this switch provides compatibility with the two ha ndset wiring sta ndards - normal or reversed (see section 5 a nd figure 4) Set h.

While in use a nd storage, care should be ta ken to avoid rough ha ndling, extreme temperature, a nd da mp or dirty environments. CLEANING NEVER use aerosol sprays or other che mical agents or substance s that leaves a re sidue (furniture polish for exa mple).
