1 Introduction The Intel ® Server Board Platform C onfidence Test package provi des a me thod to determi ne if an Intel-based server system is correctly assembl ed and functioning properly. The package provi des three test suites for the onboard resources.
2 Inst alling the Server Board Plat form Confidence T est Package The Platform Confidence Test program files are available on the software CD that accom panies the server board. Updates to this m anual can be downloaded from the Intel support websi te at: http://support.
3 Comprehensive Tests The comprehensive test probes fo r the same item s as the Quick Test, but in greater depth. In addition, it identifies the keyboard and mouse, the C OM1 and COM2 ports, the LPT port, t he floppy drive, and the onboard video controller with its memory.
