7 GB Control Panel Control Knobs The knobs for the hotplates can be rotated in either direction to provide variable heat control, the Main Oven knob can only be rotated clockwise from the Off position. Note: Always ensure that all controls are in the OFF position, when the appliance is not in use.

Each control can be used to select one of six temperature settings from a minimum at position 1 to a maximum at position 6.

When the door is open, the top inner element is activated for intense downward heat; when the door is closed, the top outer and lower elements are activated to provide even oven heating.

11 GB Main Oven Oven Control Heating of the oven is achieved by turning control clockwise to the required temperature scale on the control panel, as recommended in the temperature charts. The indicator light will immediately come on and will then automatically go off and on during cooking as the oven thermostat maintains the correct temperature.
