1 Abou t the iMc V-Swi tch Th e iMcV-Switch is a 5-po rt Ethernet module that allows the user t o incr ease the port density and service area of Ethernet networks. The store an d forward switch function allows the user to ex tend Ethe rnet service to loc ation s a to tal of 100 me ters fr om the Ethernet source.
2 Unmanaged Modules The iMcV-Swit ch is an unman aged 5-port 10/100 m odule; there are no DIP Switch settings to configure. If installed in an unmanaged c hassis, the LEDs will indica te the status of each p ort.
