1 Abou t the i McV-P SE-Mid Span The iMcV-PSE -MidSpan is an SNMP-ma nageable , IEEE 802. 3af Power over Etherne t (PoE) Injector, used to supply cu rrent to a PoE-compliant PD (Powered Devi ce). This makes it the perfect solution w hen installing compliant PDs such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and other e nd devices ( i.
2 Installat ion The iMc V-PSE-MidSpan may be ins talled into the iMediaChassis series, the IE- Media Chassis or MediaCh assis ser ies. Each mo dule wi ll occupy o ne-slot in the chassis.

5 Configuring the iM cV-PSE-MidSpan with iView² The PSE-MidSp an, when install ed in a manage d chassis, i s configurable throug h iView² software. To configure the PSE-M idSpan, open the iView2 software and sele ct the chassis in which the PSE -MidSpan has been installed.
