6 1. Before beginning, make sure that y ou understand the information in the bo x abo ve . Note: Some parts described in the assembly steps may be pre-assembled. Press a 50mm Square Outer Cap (17) onto each end of a Base (7). T ur n the Base so the large hole is in the position shown.
4. Slide the remaining Brace (2) onto the brac ket on the other Upright (1). Attach the Brace to the Upright with two M10 x 65mm Bolts (42), f our M10 W ashers (6), and two M10 Nylon Loc knuts (11).
8 5. Press a 25mm Round Inner Cap (51) into the end of a W eight Storage T ube (21). While a second person holds a Crossbar (8) in the position shown, insert two M10 x 70mm Bolts (46) through the brac ket on the W eight Storage T ube (21), the left Brace (2), and the brac ket on the Crossbar (8).
8. Press a 25mm Bushing (48) into each end of the Locking Bar (34). Inser t the Barbell (35) through the Locking Bar (34) until the Barbell is centered in the Locking Bar . 35 48 34 48 8 9. Identify the Left W eight Glider (32) by looking at the position of the round tube.
10 12. Place the Right Saf ety Spotter (23) on the right Base (7) and center it ov er the indicated hole. Note: The handle must point to ward the center of the benc h. Hav e a second person hold the Loc king Bar (34) so that the Right W eight Glider (31) rests on top of the Right Saf ety Spotter (23).
15. Press a 50mm Square Outer Cap (17) onto each end of the Small Stabilizer (25). Attach the Small Stabilizer (25) to the Bench F r ame (5) with two M10 x 65mm Carriage Bolts (40) and two M10 Nylon Lockn uts (11). Note: There is an indenta- tion around the holes on one side of the Small Stabilizer .
12 19. Lubr icate an M10 x 180mm Bolt (22). Attach the Backrest T ubes (27) to the indicated tube on the Bench F rame (5) with the Bolt, tw o M10 W ashers (6), and an M10 Nylon Lockn ut (11). Note: Do not o ver- tighten the Nylon Lockn ut; the Backrest T ubes must piv ot easil y .
13 23. T urn the Seat (14) as shown. Attach the wide end of the Seat to the brac ket on the Seat Suppor t T ube (37) with two M6 x 16mm Scre ws (3). Tilt the Seat Suppor t T ube (37) upwards and attach the narrow end of the Seat (14) to the Seat Suppor t T ube with an M6 x 38mm Bolt (60) and an M6 W asher (30).

15 ADJUSTING THE BA CKREST T o raise the Bac krest (15), grip the end of the Backrest with one hand and pull it upward. The Backrest Adjustment F rame (36) will automatically loc k into one of the tabs on the brac ket on the Bench F r ame (5). T o lower the Bac krest (15), grip the end of the Backrest with one hand and pull it slightly upwards .
