If the refrigerant circuit should become damaged: – avoid open flames and sources of igni- tion – thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated • It is dangerous to alter the specifications or modify this product in any way . Any dam- age to the cord may cause a short-circuit, fire and/or electric shock.
• Adequate air circulation should be around the appliance, lacking this leads to over- heating. To achieve su fficient ventilation follow the instructio ns relevant to installa- tion.
Important! If the ambient temperature is high or the appliance is fully loaded, and the appliance is set to the lowest temper atures, it may run continuously causing frost to form on the rear wall. In this case the dial must be set to a higher temperatur e to allow automatic defrosting and therefore reduced ener gy consumption.
To freeze fresh foods it is not necessary to change the medium setting. However, for a faster fr eezing operation, turn the temperature regulator toward higher set- tings to obtain the maximum coldness. Important! In this condition, the refrigerator compartment temperature might drop below 0°C.
