BA CKUP BA TTERY The iC50 ships with a CR2 450 battery installed for back up to pro vide continuous alarm oper ation and clock settings in the ev ent of a pow er failure . Remo ve the pull tab from the ba ttery compartment on the bottom of the unit before use .
4 BA CKUP BA TTERY ( CONTINUED ) 1. Please make sure the AC adaptor is connected. Otherwise all settings may be lost during battery replacement. 2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to open the backup battery compartment door located on the bottom of the unit.
SMARTSLIDE™ DOCK This unit featur es a SmartSlide™ dock insert (patent pending), which allows you t o dock and charge y our Android de vice whether the micro USB port is located on the left, right or bottom of the Andr oid device. 5 2. Drop the micro-USB cable through the insert.

PLA YING MUSIC LINE-IN JA CK Connect one end of the included ster eo 3.5mm audio cable into the line-in jack located in the connection c ompartment and the other end into the headphone jack on y our Android TM phone or other audio devic e. If the headphone jack is on the bottom of the Android de vice, guide plug through the SmartSlide.
SETTING THE TIME The unit featur es a Daylight Saving T ime (DST) Button for quickly adjust- ing the time at the start or end of Daylight Sa ving Time. Pres s and release the DST Button at any time to t oggle between On (adds one hour) and Off (subtr acts one hour).

FM RADIO Fully ext end the FM radio antenna on the back of the unit. Do not alt er , strip or attach to other ant ennas. Press the Mode Butt on to acc ess FM radio mode. If off , the unit will pow er on. The currently tuned s tation frequency will appear in the display .
