A1 D Back out the pre-loaded screw tips until flush with the side of the housing. Remove the motor/blower from the housing. Remove the wiring cover screw . 4 Remove packing material. A2 A3 A6 F Loosen screw securing motor . A4 A 5 Remove the pre-loaded screw tip co vers.

Insert the strain relief into the housing and secure with the washer . Position the correct depth mark at the bottom edge of the joist–based on the thickness of your sheet rock.

Reinstall the motor by inserting the tabs and pushing up into position. Make sure the wires are not pinched between the motor and the housing.
B3 7.25 ” 7.75 ” B1 D B2 Loosen screw securing motor . Remove the existing fan and check to make sure the opening is large enough to accommodate the new motor housing (7.25” x 7.75”) . Remove the motor/blower from the housing. Existing F an 8 Remove packing material.
Pop out the first wiring access slug. Use second if needed. B4 B 5 B8 D B9 B C Back out the pre-loaded screw tips until flush with the side of the housing. 9 B 6 E B7 E Remo ve the wiring cover . Remove the wiring cover screw . Remove the pre-loaded screw tip co vers.
D B 1 0 Fit housing into the opening and secure by tightening the pre-loaded screws into the joist. Note: Install the box flush with the sheetrock (ceiling). B 1 1 2 1 B 1 2 D B 1 3 D B 1 4 10 Pull the wires through the strain relief and tighten the strain relief screws.

14 T rouble Shooting Problem: Fan does not come on. Solution: • Hunter Fan Bath Ventilators are extremely quiet. T o confirm tha t the fan is running, place your hand near the vents to feel the air movement. • T urn power on, replace fuse, or reset breaker .
