5 4 7 G 8 F Remove the motor/blower from the housing. 4 H E 3 Remove the pre-loaded screw tip co vers. Remove the wiring cover screw . 6 Back out the pre-loaded screw tips until flush with the side of the housing. Remove the wiring cover . Remove packing material.
9 E Pop out the first wiring access slug. Use second if needed. Insert the strain relief (not included) into the housing and secure with washer . Position the correct depth mark at the bottom edge of the joist based on the thickness of your sheetrock.

A 1 9 I A2 0 Reinstall the motor by inserting the tabs and pushing up into position. Make sure the wires are not pinched between the motor and the housing. Secure the motor by tightening the 2 screws. T urn on the power source. 7 Connect wiring harness.
EXISTING F AN B 1 1 E B 1 2 8 Existing Construction B 1 3 2 1 B 1 4 Route wires through the strain relief. For supply connection, use wires suitable for at least 90º C (194º F). Remove an existing fan and check to make sure the open- ing is large enough to accommodate the new motor hous- ing (7 1/4”x 7 3/4”).
9 H B 1 8 H B 1 9 B 2 0 I Reinstall the motor by inserting the tabs and pushing up into position. Make sure the wires are not pinched between the motor and the housing. Connect wiring harness. DO NOT ALLOW THE MOTOR TO HANG FROM THE WIRING HARNESS. Secure the motor by tightening the 2 screws.
10 O N O F F B 2 2 B 2 3 C1 Go to step on page 10 to attach grille . B 2 1 T est the motor . If the motor does not run, check the plug connection. T urn on the power source. J M C 2 L K C 1 Attaching the Grille Remove the thumbscrews. Remove glass dome.
11 C 4 J J K C 5 C 6 C 7 L M C 8 Align posts 1, 2, and 3 (stamped into motor housing) with posts 1, 2, and 3 (stamped into light fixture). Slide light fixture over posts. Attach thumbscrews. WARNING: T o reduce the risk of electrical shock, all 4 thumbscrews MUST be properly installed.
12 T rouble Shooting Problem: Fan does not come on. Solution: • Hunter F an Bath V entila tors are extremely quiet. T o confirm that the fan is running, place your hand near the vents to feel the air movement. • T urn power on, replace fuse, or reset breaker .
