Remove the blade mounting screws and rubber shipping bumpers from the motor . No te: Some blad e mounting screws are in stalled in the motor to secure s hipping blo cks .

Feed the wires from the fan thr ough the downrod. 4-2. Loosen the allen head set s crew on the adapte r using the large allen wrenc h.
