St eps 1. Disconnec t power to the ceiling fan by t urning o the cir cuit break ers to both the outlet box and to its asso ciated wall swit ch lo cation. 2. Remove the lower s witc h housing from the fan and remove t he cover . (see gure 1) 3. Loc at e the bla ck wir e with a white st rip e and the white wir e in the lower switc h h ousing .
8. Place t he two l ouve r rings over the glob e and align the four holes in the rings with the four holes in the glob e. read two screws through to k e ep t he holes aligned. (s ee g ure 4) 9. Align the notc h in the upp er louver ring wit h the pull chain switc h on the light kit.
