English EN7 General Picture and sound Digital TV is a transmission technology that replaces the traditional analogue technique . This means that se veral TV channels, radio channels and other digital services can be transmitted on the same space as just one channel took up bef ore.
Connect Example 1 In this e xample a TV set is connected to the digital receiver . If possible the TV should be connected with the digital receiver through a Scart cable. If the TV doesn’t hav e a Scar t connection or if you w ant to connect a second TV to the digital receiver , the UHF output of the modulator ma y be used.
English Example 3 In this e xample the terrestr ial digital receiver is operated together with the satellite receiv er . Both of the receivers should be connected through a Scar t cable. Plug the Scar t cable of the satellite receiver into the VCR Scar t of the D VB-T receiver .

English Main Menu The Main Menu consists of the bellow g rouped function setting options. Detailed description of each function is descr ibed on the f ollowing pages: EN16 till EN33. 1. Time Setting Y ou can set the Current Time and W akeup Time in this mode. Fur ther more, the Service Number in the W akeup mode and Sleep Time (standby mode) can be set. When a VCR is connected, recording can be automatically done according to W akeup/Sleep Time Setting.
English A/V Output Setting Video Output (CVBS/S-Video/RGB) Select one of the f ollowing options: RGB - if you ha ve connected a scart cable to a standard TV . CVBS - if you ha ve connected a scar t cable to an old TV that do not hav e RGB-input. S-Video - if you ha ve connected to the S-video (SVHS) input on your TV or VCR.
UHF T uning How to set the UHF-modulator if y our receiver is connected to the TV with a TV cord. Channel Select a proper output channel that will not be interf ered by other TV -transmissions or other surrounding equipment that mak e use of a UHF-modulator (VCR, D VD , TV -game etc.

Organise Radio Services The Organise Radio Ser vices functions same as TV Ser vices e xcept that it uses Radio Ser vices. Y ou can delete or move Radio Services and change the attributes of them. Organise All Services The Organise All Ser vices lets the user Delete, Mov e, Lock, Skip or Rename Radio ser vices on the All Radio ser vices list.
English 4-3. Service Searching A ser vice is transmitted in a transport stream. T o watch the ser vice, all services in the transpor t stream should be searched and stored in this menu. The proper information to search the stream is provided b y the network operator .
Custom Searc h The menu, “Custom Search” operates similar as the menu “Easy Search”, howe ver more parameters are required to search the ser- vices. Select proper items as follo ws. T o get proper information, please contact your installer or the netw or k operator .
English A utomatic Search The menu “Automatic Search” is the easiest method to store new stations. Proceed as follo ws in order to star t the Automatic Search: Start Channel Set the lowest UHF channel in y our area by using the buttons . Press the button to star t the search.
