Use the pop-up menu to cut, copy , rename, and delete an item, also send an e-mail or send a f ile to another de vice. User’s G uid e 3–1 3 S ync hronizing wit h Y our Comput er Using M i c rosoft Ac tiv eS ync Microsoft Acti veSync is a program you install on your desktop or laptop computer to transfer data back and forth. In this manner , you only ha ve to input information once either at your computer or your HP iP A Q.

Using Digital Imaging F eatur es User’s G uid e 5–1 0 C hoosing t he Resolution Y ou can choose from four resolutions (or sizes) for photos captured (width by height in pix els) on your HP iP A Q. By using one of the four resolutions, you can choose the photo quality for your snapshots.

T o change the camera sounds setting: 1. From the Start menu, tap Pr ograms > HP Photosmart or from the Launch page, tap Photosmart camera.

Select your audio options. ❏ Codec settings: PCM or GSM 6.10. ◆ GSM 6.10 provides good v oice recording and takes up far less space than Pulse Code Modulation (PCM). ◆ PCM provides better sound quality b ut may take up to 86 times more storage space than GSM 6.

Using Digital Imaging F eatur es User’s G uid e 5– 2 5 HP Ima g e T ransfer Using the HP Image T ransfer software and Microsoft Acti veSync 3.7.1, you can automatically transfer photos and videos from your HP iP A Q to your personal computer for printing and sharing with family and friends.
Using Digital Imaging F eatur es User ’s Guide 5–2 6 Once HP Image T ransfer has been installed and is recognized by Acti veSync, the Acti veSync windo w displays the Image checkbox. T o enable and modify HP Image T ransfer settings: 1. Open Acti veSync on your personal computer , if it is not already open.

If there is no printer in this list or the pr inter that you want to print to is not listed, tap the Conf igure… b utton to add a printer .

Printing to a Bluetooth Prin ter Make sure the selected Bluetooth printer is in range of your de vice and the Bluetooth radio of your device is on.

For more information, refer to “ Adding a Bluetooth Printer” ■ IR Connections - IR connections are the slo west, b ut easiest to use.
