ENWW Chapter 2: Printing T asks 55 Customizing T ra y 1 Operation Customize T ra y 1 to fit your printing needs. The printer can be set to pr int from T ra y 1 as long as it is loaded, or to print on ly from T ra y 1 if the type of paper loaded is specifically requested.
56 Chap ter 2: Printing T asks ENWW Manually Feeding Paper from Tray 1 The Manual F eed feature allows y ou to pr int on special paper from T ra y 1, such as env elopes or letter head. If Manual F e ed is selected, the printer will pr int only from T ra y 1.

ENWW Chapter 2: Printing T asks 61 Pr oofing and Holding a Job The proof and hold feature pro vides a quic k and easy wa y to print and proof one cop y of a job and then pr int the additional copies. Because they are not HP products, HP cannot influence their design or control their quality .
70 Chap ter 3: Printer Maintenance ENWW Continue Printing When T oner is Lo w When toner is low , the printer ’ s control panel displays the TONER LOW message. • If the TONER L OW message displa ys , but the printer continues printing, TON ER LOW is set to CONTINUE (the default setting).
ENWW Chapter 3: Pr inter Maintenance 7 1 Redistributing the Toner When toner is low , faded or light areas might appear on a printed page. Y ou might be able to temporarily improv e print quality by redistr ib uting the toner . 86 Chap ter 4: Problem Solving ENWW MEMORY SETTINGS CHANGED The prin ter changed its memor y settin gs becau se it did not hav e enough memor y to use the previous settings f or I/O Buffering and Resource Saving. This usually occurs after remo ving memor y from the prin ter , adding a duple xer , or adding a pr inter langu age.
