Raise the ap , and lift the lid off Unpacking stand T ak e the 2 feet out of the bo x . T ake the leg structur e fr om the bo x and place it, w ith the clips f orwar d up, o n the oor . Clips fac ing forwar d T ak e one of the feet f rom the bo x .
T urn the legs u pside do wn , and attach the two feet t o the left and righ t legs using four M6×30 sc re ws (tw o for each f oot). Tighten the scr ew s w ith the T-handle T orx driv er T30 found in the a ssembly kit . 9 Using 2 people; lift the scanner fr om the box and place it on the T op T ra y .
Cleaning the scan area... Y ou are no w req uired to c lean the scan area - glas s plate. T o do so you w ill need clean lint fr ee c loths and a mild, str eak-f ree glas s cleaner . These ar e not pro v ided with the s canner . Caution: do not use abr asi ves , acetone , benz ene , or uids that contain these chemicals .
Cabling and connecting 21 Insert the clips under the T op T ra y to mount the USB cable w her e show n below . Mount the cable and let the end hang fr om the last clip . T he cable will be connected to the pr inter in a later st ep. Let the end hang fr om the las t clip Attach the U SB cable to the scanner .
