5-2 Troubleshooting Basic Troubleshooting Tips Troubleshooting cable to the cable in appendix B, “Switch Po rts and Network Cabl es” for pinouts and correct cable wiring. A category 5 cable tester is a recom- mended tool for every 100Base-TX an d 1000Ba se-T network installation.
5-3 Troubleshooting Basic Troubleshooting Tips Troubleshooting Because the Series 8200zl Switch behaves i n this way (in compliance with the IEEE 802.3 standard) , if a device connected to the sw itch has a fixed configuration at full duplex, the device will not con nect correctly to the switch.
