Wrist straps are flexible straps with a minimum of one megohm ±10% resistance in the ground cords.

(The edge of the module opposite the slot rises aw ay from the computer .) 4. Remov e the memory module 2 by pulling the module aw ay from the slot at an angle.

Remo val and r eplacement pr ocedures 4–4 2 ✎ Due to the adhesi ve quality of the thermal material loca ted between the f an/heat sink assembly and system board components, you may need to mov e the fan/heat sink as sembly from side to side to detach the assembly .
Remo val and r eplacement pr ocedures 4–4 3 ✎ The thermal material must be thoroughly cleaned from the surfaces of the f an/heat sink and the system board components each time the fan/heat sink is remo ved. Therma l grease is located on the section of the fa n/heat sink 1 that services the processor 2 .

Setup Uti lit y 5–1 5 Setup Utility The Setup Utility is a R OM-based information and customiz ation utility that can be used ev en when your W indo ws operating system is not working. The utility reports information about the computer and provid es settings for startup, security , and other preferences.
