16 Installing the switch CAUTION: Keep the tamper-proof seal on a mountin g screw on the chassis cover intact, and if you want to open the chassis, contact your local HP agent for pe rmission. Otherwise, HP shall not be liable for any consequence caused thereby.
17 Installing a 5120 EI switch in a 19-inch rack Y ou can install a 5 1 20 EI sw itch in a 1 9-inch standar d rac k by u sing differ ent mounting positi ons. Ta b l e 6 sho ws the installati on methods av ailable for the s witc hes of differ ent depths.

19 3. Unpack the front mounting brackets and the screws fo r fixing the brackets to the switch chassis. 4. Align the round holes in one bracket with the hole s in the front mounting positi on of the switch chassis, and use the screws to fix the mounting bracket to the chassis, as shown in Figure 32 .

26 1. Identify the correct mounting position (see Table 8 ). 2. Align the round holes in one bracket with the holes in the mount ing position. 3. Use screws to fix the mounting bracket to the chassis. 4. Repeat the preceding steps to attach the other mounting bracket to the chassis.

32 2. Insert an anchor into each hole until the anchor is flush with the wall surface. See Figure 53 . 3. Drive a screw into each wall anchor, leaving a gap of at least 1.5 mm (0.06 in) between the base of the screw head and the wall anchor so that the switch can hang on the screws securely.
