12 Chapter 2 EN Configuring Input T ra ys The def ault setting f or T ray 1 is TRA Y 1=FIRST . In this mode, if media is loaded in T ra y 1 and no other tray is specified , media will be pulled from T r a y 1 regardless of the type or siz e of media loaded in the tray .

EN Clearing Jams 31 3 Clearing Jams in the Rear Doors Area W ARNING! Do not touch the fuser: it is hot! The fuser’s oper ating temperature is 190 ° C (374 ° F). Wait 30 min utes to allow the fuser to cool down before working in this area. 1 If the duplex printing accessory is installed, open the rear duplex co ver (1).
