Safety first ● Dispose of packaging materials carefully and keep them w ell aw ay from children. ● When disposing of y our old machine , to minimise risk of injury to children, isolate fr om the elec trical supply , remo ve the door , the plug and cut the mains cable off flush with the appliance .
1. Choose a location... Where y ou install the machine will affect its per formance. ● F or your safety and to comply with electrical regulations , seek professional advic e if you wan t to install your machine in a bath or sho wer room. ● Make sure that the electr ical socket and water taps are easily accessible.
6 Hold the transit bolt and slide to the side and then pull out. The bolt and spacer should be remov ed intact. (see below) Using a screw driver , remov e the screw to release the plastic co ver . F irstly , unhook the grey drainage hose and proceed as f ollows , tak ing care not to loosen the hot and cold wat er fill hoses.
Make sure that the electr ical socket is accessible. T ake the mains lead from the back of the machine and plug it into the socket. W e do not rec ommend wiring your machine directly into the mains supply . Hot and cold fill 1 Unclip the gr ey and blue fill hoses from the back of the machine. 2 Connect the free end of the grey fill hose to the HO T water supply (see figure1). Connect the free end of the blue fill hose to the C OLD water supply . 3 T urn on your wat er supply and check for leaks .
● T ak e care when you remo ve the drain hose from the clips on the back of the machine. All machines are tested with wa ter before they lea ve the factor y so a small amount of water may still be in the hose. ● Do not remov e the hooked end suppor t from the GREY drainage hose when using any of the dr ainage methods detailed below .
7.A djust the feet ... Once the machine is in plac e 10 6. Mov e the machine into position... Y our machine is heavy so care must be taken when moving it. T o help you we hav e fitted wheels to the bottom rear of the machine. ● When moving the machine , take care not to kink or damage the hoses at the back of machine.

Sor t your laundr y into groups b y washcare labels. Load the machine , making sure that clothes are not trapped in the door . Close the washing machine door b y pushing it until it clicks.
Choose a suitable deter gent ● F ollow the detergent manufacturer ’ s recommendations to mak e sur e you use the correct amount for y our wash. ● T o achieve the best wash results , the water har dness, degree of soiling and load size need to be c onsidered and the recommended amount of det ergent used .
When you ar e using the pre-wash option with your selected programme add detergent t o the pre-wash compar tment ( l symbol). Add the deter gent for the main wash to the main compar tment ( ll symbol). Dispensing liquid detergen t The liquid retaining flap is preset for adding powder det ergent.
Door Locked Indicat or ... ‘Red Ke yhole ’ symbol The ‘ Red K eyhole ’ symbol will illuminate 2 seconds after you ha ve pressed the ‘ Star t ’ button and will remain lit throughout the wash progr amme. The ‘ Red K eyhole ’ symbol will be flashing at the end of the programme to indica te that the door is still locked .

Options 19 Choosing an option button The f eatures listed belo w are all av ailable with any wash progr amme selected . F av orite Programme ● This option allo ws y ou to store y our fav orite programme for wh en you ne x t want to use it. Only one progr amme can be stored in thi s function.
20 Options PROGRAMMES & OPTIONS Any of the f ollowing optional wash featur es can be selected af t er the wash programme selection, with the ex ception of ‘F ast F or ward’ , which can only be activated after the wash programme has started.
Options Rinse Hold ● This option holds clothes in the final rinse w ater , keeping them fresh until y ou are ready to c omplete the programme T o use this option press the ‘R inse Hold’ button once , illuminates in the display window abo ve the ‘R inse Hold’ option button.
