FRIDGE FREEZER - MODELS FF A90, FFS90 & FFM90 INSTRUCTIONS FOR INST ALLA TION & USE GET TING ST AR TED: T o ensure that your fridge freez er runs reliably and efficientl y follo w these steps.
F or Y our Safety F or your saf ety , r ead the following advic e: The fridge freezer c ooling system contains a small amoun t of gas which is envir onmentally friendly but flammable. T o a void an y risk :- ● Install the fridge freezer f ollowing the installation instructi ons and ensure that ventila tion openings are kept clear of obstruc tion.
Installation Location & Air C irculation Locat e your fridge freez er away fr om sources of heat e .g . cookers, radiat ors, direct sunlight as extreme temperature will affect its per formance. Allow a minimum 100mm (4 inches) between the t op of the fridge freezer and the ceiling or the underside of a w all cupboard .
Installation Le velling: Lev el the fridge freezer when it is in its final location b y adjusting the front f eet, until firm contact is made with the floor . This will stop r ock ing or vibration and keep the door aligned which helps the fridge freezer run reliably and ef ficien tly .
If you change the plug , the colour of wires in the mains lead ma y not c orrespond with the colour of the markings identifying terminals in the plug. Y ou should therefore wire it as shown abov e. Changing the Mains Lead This appliance is fitt ed with a special mains lead.
C on trols F ridge (top compartment): with temperature setting at 4˚C Flashing do wnwards arrow shows the fridge compartment is warming to reach 4˚C. 6 Flashing upw ards arrow shows the fridge compar tment is cooling to reach 4˚C. No arrow shows the fridge compar tment is at 4˚C.
C on trols 7 T o set up holiday mode: 1. Remove an y food from the fridge compartment that will deteriorate while y ou are awa y . Make sure the fridge is clean, see ‘Cleaning’ in the CLEANING & MAINTENANCE section.

U seful A dvic e 9 Note: The Rating Plate , which lists the appliance Model Number and Serial Number can be found near the bottom of the fridge compartment on the interior wall.
● P ack and store cooked and fresh f ood separately . ● Wr ap raw or defrosting meat and poultry in polythene or foil an d store belo w cooked foods and dair y products to av oid contamination of dripping food juic es. ● Wr ap cheese in greaseproof paper and place in an airtight conta iner or polythene bag.
U seful A dvic e 11 Make the most of the interior storage space by r epositioning shelves to suit the v arious heights of individual items you wish t o store . Note : Only the front half of the shelf c an be repositioned, the back half must remain in its original position.
U seful A dvic e 12 Each salad bin has its own humidity control, which can be adjusted to retain the fr eshness of either fruit or salad being stored . Just slide the humidity controls to open and close the vents. The chiller draw er maintains cold temper atures and is suitable for the stor age of chicken, meat, fish and game etc.
U seful A dvic e 13 ● F reeze and stor e either fresh food or long term c ommercially fr oz en foods. ● Generally speak ing long term storage means up to 3 mon ths but t his can vary , so always f ollow your supplier’ s recommendations otherwise refer to the pictorial guide on the door liner (as shown).
U seful A dvic e 14 W ARNING: The freezer dra wers can become hea vy when fully loaded with foo d. Care must be taken if attempting to lift or carr y a full freezer draw er . I t is recommended to r emove the r equired food , rather than the whole freezer dr awer .
Cleaning 15 Interior Exterior Door Seals W ARNING: Switch off electrical supply and pull out mains plug before cle aning . W ARNING: Do not use abrasive powder , household cleaner , bleach or wax poli sh to clean the interior , they will leave a smell inside the fridge freez er .
If you are going aw ay and don ’ t want to use your fridge freez er , switch off elec tricity supply and pull out the mains plug. Remove food and f ollow the cleaning instruct ions on the previous page. Note : L eave the doors ajar to prev ent an accumulation of odours .
Y ou will need a cross head screw driver , a flat blade screwdriver and a 5mm spanner t o carr y out this procedure . Our Ser vice Depar tment can arrange for an Engineer to do the con version f or you but a char ge will be made. W ARNING: Switch off electrical supply and pull out the mains plug.
Refit Low er Door 18. Screw the bottom hinge pin complet e with spacing washers into the left hinge bracket. 19. T ake off the two screw cov ers from the left hand centre pane l and remo ve the two screws . F it these screws and cov ers ov er on the right hand side.
