Ice Maker Instruction Manual Model: IM01A.
- 2 - 1. Important Safety Instructions Please read these instructions thoroughly befor e using this product and retain them for future use. WARNING: This appliance must be earthed. - This Ice Maker is intended for household use only . - If the power cord is damaged a replacement must be obtained from the manufacturer .
- 3 - 2. Operation a) Ice Making Cycle The ice making cycle has 5 steps: 1. Pumping water from the wate r tank up to the water tray. 2. Operating the refrigeration system to create the ice cubes. 3. Emptying the excess water from the water tray. 4. Releasing the ice cubes into the ice container.
- 4 - Ice Full Indicator (red): When the Ice Cont ainer is fu ll of ice cubes, the indicator will turn red. The ice making cycle will stop af ter the next batch of ice cubes have been released into the container . The unit will then go into standby mode.
- 5 - e) Electrical Connection Connect the supply cord to the socke t at the rear of the Ice Make r. Insert the 3-pin plug into a 13A socket. Ensure that the supply is 220- 240V 50Hz. Switch off the supply and remove the plug when cleaning the applia nce or the appliance is not in use.
- 6 - h) Adding Water Slide the Ice Container fully forwar ds and then tilt it up slightly to remove it from the unit. Use the jug provided to pour potable water into the Water Tank. Note: Do not overfill the Water Tank above the ‘Full’ level. (See picture below).
- 7 - 3. Cleaning and Maintenance Note: Please clean the Ice Maker regularly . - Before cleaning the unit, switch off the power and remove the plug. Remove any ice cubes from the Ice Container and drai n all the water from the W ater T ank. - Use a dilute mild detergent in water to cl ean the inside and outside of the Ice Maker with a soft cloth.
- 8 - 6. T rouble Shooting Problem Possible Cause Possible Solution The compressor makes a strange noise T oo low voltage T urn off the Ice Maker . Ensure the voltage is normal and restart. Room temperature is too low Remove the Ice Container . W ait several minutes before replacing the container and then rest art the machine.
