31 2. Brazing W ARNING • R-404A itself is not ammable at atmospheric pr essure and t emperatures up t o 1 7 6°F (80°C). • R-404A itself is not e xplosiv e or poisonous. Howe ver , when e xposed to high temper atures (open ames), R-404A can be decomposed to f or m h ydrouoric acid and carbonyl uoride both of which are hazar dous.
32 5) Disconnect the gauge manif old hose from the v acuum pump and at tach it to a refrigerant service cylinder . Remember t o loosen the connection and purge the air from the hose .
