1 2 C. Location C A UTION 1 . This icemaker is not int ended for outdoor use . Nor mal operating ambient temper atur e should be within 45°F t o 1 00°F (7°C to 38°C); Nor mal operating wat er temperatur e should be within 45°F to 90°F (7°C to 32°C).
1 3 5) Install the bin contr ol thermostat as f ollows: a. Remov e the baf f le fr om the bin (if applicab le). b . Remo v e the tie secur ing the bin control thermostat assemb l y . Remov e the 2 thumbscre ws and the "Z" brack et. See Fig .
1 4 6) Conrm that the icemaker and st orage bin ar e lev el in both the lef t-t o-right and front-t o-rear dir ections . If necessar y , lev el the storage bin in both the lef t-to-right and front-t o-rear dir ections accor ding t o the st orage bin man uf acturer's instructions.
1 5 7) Install the bin contr ol thermostat as f ollows: a. Remov e the ther mostat b ulb at tachment (plastic) of the upper unit fr om the ther mostat e xtension br ac k et (stainless).
1 6 F . Electr ical Connection W ARNING F or All Models 1 . Electrical connection must be hard-wir ed and must meet national, state , and local electrical code requir ements. F ailure t o meet these code requir ements could result in death, electric shoc k, serious injur y , re , or e xtensiv e damage to equipment.

1 8 G. Installation of Remot e Condenser Unit W ARNING 1 . Installation of r emot e condenser unit must be perf or med by pr oper l y trained and EP A -cer ti ed ser vice per sonnel. 2. F ailure to inst all the equipment within these guidelines ma y adver sely af fect saf ety , performance, component lif e, and warr anty cov erage .
1 9 3. Setup 1) Secure the legs t o the remot e condenser unit with the 8 bolts and nuts pr o vided. See Fig . 1 0. 2) The legs hav e 8 mounting holes. Secure the legs with 8 bolts (not included). 4. Line Set C A UTION The icemaker , line set, and remot e condenser unit must contain the same type of refrigerant.
20 c. Make sur e the male t ting and f emale coupling are pr operly aligned, then start the connection by hand t o ensure that it is not cr oss thr eaded. d. Tighten the connection with a wr ench until it is tight. At this point, the nut has cov ered most of the thr eads on the male t ting.
21 6) Ev acuat e thr ough the Schrader access por ts on the P ar k er quic k connect couplings and charge with R-404A r efr igerant v apor to a pr essur e of 1 5 to 30 PSIG. 7) Connect the r efr igerant lines t o the appr opriate male t tings on the remot e condenser unit rst and then at the icemak er .
22 5. Refr igerant Char ge (Line Set Ex ceeding 66 Feet) C A UTION The icemaker , line set, and remot e condenser unit must contain the same type of refrigerant. Mixing of r efrigerants will result in impr oper operation and possible damage t o the refrigeration s y stem.
23 4) Connect the f an motor leads in the junction bo x of the remot e condenser unit t o the f an motor leads in the f an motor junction bo x of the icemaker . Use wire of an appr opr iate gage and outdoor r ating . 5) Replace the junction bo x cov ers and the louv er panel in their corr ect positions .

25 1 . Icemak er • Icemaker w ater suppl y inlet is 1/2" f emale pipe thread (FPT). A minimum of 1/2" nominal copper wat er tubing is recommended f or the icemaker wat er supply line. • An icemaker w ater supply line shut-of f val v e and drain val ve should be installed.

32 22) Mov e the control s witch to the "W ASH" position. 23) Replace the fr ont panel in its correct position. 24) T ur n on the power suppl y to rinse of f the cleaning solution. 25) T ur n of f the po wer suppl y aft er 5 minutes . 26) Remo ve the fr ont panel and the insulation panel.
